This site is designed specifically to support the various configurations of the H-II launcher. A mobile launch tower transports the launcher from the vehicle assembly building to the launch site. It is one of two launch sites within the Yoshinobu Launch Complex.
Built in the 1970s to support upcoming H-II launch operations.
