Additional Background

Expected to be similar to White Knight Two in overall design, indicating a dual-fuselage design carrier aircraft, with a center spar for hanging the sub-orbital spacecraft it carries to launch altitude.

Being developed by Boeing's subsidiary Aurora Flight Sciences, instead of Scaled Composites (which had produced the earlier carrier aircraft). Expected to be ready no earlier than 2025.
