Alpha is a two-stage launcher using four Reaver engines on its first stage and one Lightning engine on its second stage. Its initial flights have had mixed success, but the rocket has a substantive manifest head of it in 2024.
First entered service in 2021, continuing in service to today. Of five launches, one failed, and two were partial successes.
Development of an earlier design of Alpha began as early as 2014. Originally designed around methalox engines, a switch to kerolox fuel saw tests of the new engines in the late 2010s, with the first integrated launch in 2021.
