In 2017, Falcon 9 launches started from SLC-39A; Falcon Heavy launches, including the inaugural launch, began in the same year. In 2022, additional construction began on a separate SuperHeavy/Starship pad at SLC-39A, nearly completed. SLC-39A also have facilities for supporting crewed launches on Dragon 2.
