SpaceX invested several million dollars to build a pad and other infrastructure at the site to support testing with their F9R Dev2 planned re-usability testbed. Due to other changes in the SpaceX development program for Falcon 9 re-usability the plans for F9F Dev2 were dropped - and as a result, further testing at this site.
