Early news about the company referred to it as 'Stealth Space Company'. Astra had a string of failures with their earlier rockets (ultimately getting one to orbit), before deciding to end development of their smaller rockets, to move onto a much larger one. At this time, the company is undergoing capitalization issues, and currently has shifted most employees to a separate engine production unit, largely putting rocket development on pause.
