Facilities at the spaceport include a rocket integration building, solid-fuel motor storage, and a control center.
The first elements of the spaceport were constructed in 1963, with the help of Japan. So far, the site has supported launches of suborbital rockets, though the site is expected to eventually support orbital launch operations for indigenous Indonesia orbital launcher designs.
