Site of one of the newer launch sites, it includes the Imam Khomeini Space Launch Terminal - the launch site made famous by then-United States President Donald Trump as he surprisingly-disclosed certain United States surveillance capabilities.
Operated since 2004, it has seen several orbital launch attempts.
