Additional Background

Announced in the early 2020s, the site is expected to see initial operations for suborbital launches in 2025, followed by a phased implementation over several years until 2031 when it will be capable of launching both liquid-fueled and solid-fueled launches and supporting international launch services providers.

The site looks south, out over the northern Arabian Sea - providing for polar launches which can drop spent stages in the ocean.
