Additional Background

Can deliver 6,000kg to Low-Earth Orbit or 4,000kg to Sun-Synchronous Orbit. Launcher flies only in an expendable configuration. The first-stage is powered by four Tianque-12 engines. The second-stage is powered by a single vacuum-optimized Tianque-12 engine, with four Tianque-11 engines acting as vernier thrusters. The Tianque-15A engine will replace the Tianque-12 engine on the second-stage, eliminating the need for the vernier engines.

The first launch of the Zhuque-2 failed due to an issue with the second-stage engine. This was followed-on by two successful orbital launches.
