The Terran 1, the company's original rocket design, was designed from the beginning as an entirely 3D-printed rocket. While the company has since pivoted to a more conventional approach to building its tanks with the new Terran R design, it has retained a focus on 3D-printing, with Aeon-R engines still being 3D-printed. Because of their extensive large-format 3D-printing experience with Terran 1, the company has accrued signinificant IP in that area.
Currently, with Terran 1 taken out of service and Terran R not expected to launch before 2026, the company remains under development with its launch capabilities.
