The company has any interesting formative history. It was originally started in 2015, organized around a Kickstarter campaign for a mission to Luna, under the name Moonspike Ltd. They changed their focus in 2016, and renamed themselves. Afterward, a series of outside investments allowed them to start building the infrastructure for, and hire around, creating a smallsat launcher of their own.
This smallsat launcher, Prime, is the current focus. First launch was originally slated for 2023, but will now be no earlier than 2024. The critical path for the company at this point, is preparation of their launch site.
