Momentus has pursued a novel propulsion technology, where water molecules are excited by microwaves. Though they had originally mentioned several tiers of space tugs, only one type (Vigoride) has even been launched.
Originally coming out of Y-Combinator, this VC-backed firm is now a publicly-traded company after merging with a SPAC in 2020.
